About Us

Welcome to the website of the Association of Catholic School Principals NSW. The Association exists to promote Catholic Education through the strong voice of Catholic School Principals.

The Executive Committee has representatives from NSW Diocesan Principals and a representative from a Congregational School. Since 2013, the Chairpersons from the eleven Diocesan Principals’ Associations, or their representative, have been invited to attend the Executive Meetings to ensure that issues from all the principals are heard.

Meeting four times per year, the Executive is regularly briefed by Catholic Schools NSW and NESA. ACSP is also represented by the NSW branch of Principals Australia Institute and the Catholic Schools Debating Association. At the national level, representatives from ACSP sit on the Boards of the Australian Primary Principals Association (APPA), Australian Catholic Primary Principals Association (ACPPA) and Catholic Secondary Principals Australia (CaSPA). As all Executive members are full-time school principals, a part-time Executive Officer is employed to assist with managing the day-to-day business of the Association.

We aim to keep members up to date with issues through our regular newsletter and, through your representatives, have your voices heard in the forums where they matter.

I am very proud to be an advocate for arguably the most important voice in the direction of education leadership and the improvement of student outcomes.

President of ACSP
